Good evening @Dimity @ENKELI @TAB @Glisten @tyme @Shaz51 @Snowie @greenpea @Appleblossom @PeppyPatti @MDT @Jynx @rav3n @Ru-bee and all forumites here tonight. Well done on your fabulous achievements!
@ENKELI great work on all of your achievements! Doing little things each day do add up, especially if you’re not feeling the best. Well done!
@Dimity the move was stressful but I got there in the end. I’m just so glad I had my knitting to help keep me sane - lots of adult beanies (5) have been knitted in the past week for charity!
As for me, I’ve achieved the following things over the past few days including:
- Moved to my new house over last Wednesday and Thursday (took 2 rushed days to move everything in)
- Explored my new country town on Friday and had lunch out at a cafe
- Watched the Brisbane cricket test on TV as well as the Big Bash on Sunday and Monday nights
- Helped unpack some boxes
- Ordered 2 Harry Potter cross stitch kits for my housemate for her Christmas present from Spotlight which are being delivered in the next few days
- Caught the train down to my old town to collect a Christmas hamper today from a charity they allocated to us
- Helped my sister via a phone call get me some extra wool for a kids jumper at Spotlight which she will give to me when she visits next Tuesday
- Started reading an ebook novel today on my phone as I waited for my housemate to do some food shopping at a local supermarket (I treated myself to a milkshake and donuts to fill in time whilst she shopped)
- Watched 3 episodes of Gossip Girl - season 3- on my phone
That’s all from me tonight. Take care!

@Dimity can confirm re website: You don't seem to be able to search by username any more, and searching by keyword in thread title or thread text simply doesn't work most of the time.
I thought it was because coverage is dodgy in this Faraday A-Frame.
If I click on a listed thread title, it takes me to the middle page. For example page 60 of 120.
But it was doing that before the website overhaul.
Socials is in need of a user-friendly Thread index for mobile 📱 device users.
I’m very much looking forward to the new PGC platform 🤩
@tyme @TAB @espressologic that will be a huge Daily Achievement 😊

Hi @Judi9877
Wow, you are achieving so much, well done.
Glad you have your knitting to destress a bit.
Am watching the cricket too.

@Judi9877 wow you have been busy.
Exploring a new town is fun, it's one of my favourite things to do. Unfortunately I don't get to do it much these days.
I have done my Christmas shopping, all I have to do is order my dad's gift (he loves Jerky from a particular store in NSW) and wrap the other presents. The one advantage of being cut out of my Godchildrens' lives is less presents to purchase and wrap!

Taken on board @Glisten @Dimity , thanks for the feedback.
Just to let you know, when you click on the thread links, it depends on which link is 'saved'. Each post has a different link and hence you may be taken to the 'middle' of the thread.
As for searching by usernames, we know this function has been removed. This was requested by numerous reasons around safety and I guess this is where we need to find the middle line. I'm sorry we can't always fulfil all requests.
There are also concerns about the 'Who's Online' function. We are in the process of reviewing this. Whilst it can be helpful for some members, it can be quite triggering for others.
Once again, thank you for the feedback. I just want you to know we are not ignoring the requests. In some instances, we are restricted by technology.

Thanks @tyme for your response. The keyword search not working is troubling as the metatags in your word cloud are by no means comprehensive enough or detailed enough. I can understand re username but it does limit ongoing connection with people we've connected with especially now that long continuing threads are actively discouraged. Re who's online I've noticed that the list no longer includes the SANE team members but I guess if we don't know who's on shift we can tag the moderator. It's just nice sometimes to tag a team member when we know they're likely to be able to see the post soon and respond rather than waiting days.

Thanks @Dimity ,
I'm going to look into this re the search. I 'think' I know the issue, but I will need to confirm.

.. I found a way of 'finding' threads after search function was removed. works if you are subscribed to that thread.
go to favourite, then subscriptions come up (who knew) then find thread and mark it as favourite and it sits in new favourite list ha ha lol @Dimity
