Re: Wait what did I come into this thread for again? Oh yeah, ADHD!

@Shaz51 I do think physical movement can help. Even when I’m not exercising, fidgeting and pacing actually help me self-regulate. I have literally given up trying to mask fidgeting in public if I don’t need to.

@Glisten I haven’t been to the beach for a while, maybe I should go. No beaches near my house. Classic fiction does is unique. It does take you into a different world.

@Jynx it’s kind of why I find Pilates can be helpful

Yay for fidgeting in public @creative_writer!! The more people who do it, the more normalised it becomes!!

My friend just sent me some fidgets. I am so happy. They are wonderful!!!

Re: Wait what did I come into this thread for again? Oh yeah, ADHD!

Oooh what sort @Oaktree? Love a good stimmy fidget device!!

Re: Wait what did I come into this thread for again? Oh yeah, ADHD!

@Oaktree and @Jynx stimming is definitely okay as long as it’s not resulting in injury. It helps many of us self-regulate. Though I know in certain situations the stims might need to be less obvious, but why not. A lot of people fidget.

@Oaktree I am also curious about your fidgets

Hello @creative_writer , @Jynx , @Oaktree , @Glisten 😊

Re: Wait what did I come into this thread for again? Oh yeah, ADHD!

Afternoon @Shaz51!! How's your day going?

I took the little name plate out of my spinner. There was also a second pink spinner and a green and purple dragon for my daughter. The mouse and cheese puzzle was hard

Hi @Shaz51 how are you?

@Oaktree I look forward to seeing the image once it appears 😊

Re: Wait what did I come into this thread for again? Oh yeah, ADHD!

@creative_writer sometimes you just have to be in a different environment.

Do something silly. Like dancing in the rain.

I think restlessness is your brain 🧠 craving stimulation. Like when you keep eating the same food.

Your brain needs variety.
