@Oaktree i feel you, perfectionism is both a blessing and curse sometimes. do you experience imposter syndrome too?

I never feel good enough. I was told constantly as a child that I wasn’t as smart as my siblings, or that I wasn’t this enough or that enough. My mother also told me she wished I was never born when I was 12 years old. Yes it has been a struggle but now I am finally finding my place.

@Oaktree i'm so sorry that you've had to grow up feeling that way. being compared to siblings or anyone absolutely sucks, and wasn't fair on you. my mother constantly compared me to others as well, it takes time to break free from that and realise that you are allowed to have your own strengths, your own weakness, and still be more than enough.

i'm so glad that you're starting to find your place!! i think the peer work space will be really supportive in reminding you that you are enough as you are.
