I am so sorry to hear that.
Keep on going, that’s all we can do.
Things aren’t great for me at the moment either and I have a big decision to make.
Hopefully things will get easier for both of us

Hey @Oaktree ,
sorry to hear things aren’t going well for you. Did you want to talk about it? I am better at trying to help others than myself. lol

Hi @Rockdog
I am feeling overwhelmed at Tafe and want to withdraw. I am worried that it will be the wrong decision and I am also worried about what other people will think. I know I shouldn’t worry about others but I have a lot of expectation put on me

Hi @Oaktree ,
can you take a break from study for a semester? I took a huge break from my study. Maybe you just need a little time away. Don’t let anyone tel you what to do. You are good at this though so shouldn’t withdraw completely.Go with your heart. 🥰

Hi @Rockdog
How are you today?
Do you have any plans this week?
I am looking forward to Sunday.
My kids are coming over to play games and we are going to get Chinese for dinner

Hey @Rockdog ,
It sounds like your brain has been on overdrive a little.
You know how you mentioned that you feel you are better at talking to others and helping others?
Maybe this is key to helping you 'get up' again when you feel down.
There are so many others who would thrive on getting support from you. Your experiences can really go a long way. It doesn't mean you are perfect or 'there yet', but it's a chance to reflect on your growth.
What do you think?

Hey @tyme ,
glad you are back. Hope you had a good holiday. I really think that is a great idea. If you have any advice on how to get there I would be really interested. I had applied for the free Diploma of Counselling at TAFE, but I was rejected.
Things have been on overdrive for me. I had a weird moment. I went out on a date, it was very nice. We are walking in the park at night and she says ‘ look a feather.’ It was sticking out of a post by itself. I just said, must be a guardian angel. I didn’t say much, but you know where my thoughts went. Then I thought maybe it means my destiny is out of sync and is not going to work.

Hey @Rockdog ,
One step at a time. You can't run before you can walk. If you are just starting to walk, you need to keep practising to get to the point of running, right?
You would be so amazing with counselling. You are such a gentle soul. Is there a way centrelink can help you with accessing additional study?
I've seen how amazing you have been supporting others on the forums. I wonder if you can do this a little more if you feel you can relate to someone else's post? This may give you a bit more of an idea whether you feel you want to really pursue mental health as a career.
Also, with your feather, it sounds pretty cool! Feathers form a special part of you life. They are a symbol of hope, freedom, power and peace.
Your time will come.

Hey @tyme,
I do want to work in this area and should try and do more on here. I ny be able to get some support. I know you mentioned what to study in the Sundry night group awhile ago. I think it was Certificate 4 in Mental Health wasn’t it? Or ars there other options? The feather was weird because j was with someone else. That is why I couldn’t understand it. What could that mean? Hope you and Ruby are well.😊
