Tandem's 2015 Carer Forum: Caring Counts will be held on May 19th. This event is for Victorian health carers and families, carer peer workers, mental health professionals and those who are interested in attending.
Registration/tea/coffee from 8:30am
Event starts at 9:30am promptly and will run to 3:30pm
Darebin Arts and Entertainment Centre
Cnr Bell Street and St Georges Road, Preston
This is a FREE EVENT with catering provided.
There is easy access to the venue with plenty of transport options and parking available onsite.
The venue is wheelchair friendly.
There will be a full day program with sessions on:
- the NDIS,
- Victoria's Mental Health Community Support Services,
- Carer Advocacy: Mental Health Complaints Commissioner, Mental Health tribunal, Mental Health Act
- AOD and Dual Diagnosis
- Dual Disability
- Carer Support
