To rebuild or not to rebuild
The question for the day ???
To rebuild or not to rebuild, what is the answer??
Sooo many different options that we are not sure which way to go
Due to our house fire 11 weeks ago , the house is soon to be demolished
We are living at my elderly mum's house which I am her carer
My Mr shaz has MI and is finding it hard with all the changes
And me having one kidney at 21 % kidney disease and Diabetes and Arthritis
Finding it hard to decide

Re: To rebuild or not to rebuild
Big decision's to make @Shaz51
speaking for myself, if I enjoyed living on this property and wanted to continue with the same lifestyle and was fit enough to look after a big block then I would rebuild.
But if I felt it was getting too much for me to handle not just now but in the future then I would sell. Quality of Life and having a life less stressful and having the freedom to wake up and just do what you want to do and not what you have to do is more important. I am sure you will make the right decision. 💐

Re: To rebuild or not to rebuild
That's a tough decision @Shaz51
@Former-Member's thoughts seem helpful & insightful.
If you decide Not to Rebuild - Where would you live Long-Term?
Personally, I need my own space.
I cannot afford to pay Any amount of Rent $$.
My income is much less than/ short of my expenses - That's Without paying any Rent.
So I would Rebuild myself.

Re: To rebuild or not to rebuild
I am waiting to see if I get an appointment to see a neurosurgeon with the public health hospital. I was told it could be 1 to 2 years wait. So my GP said she will try again for me. I have had extremely painful headaches and after having a MRA Angiogram it showed I have a brain aneurysm. Trying to stay stress free but today my tooth broke in half and had to go to the dentist! Don't want to have panic attacks as the pain I am getting I think with the hyperventilation is excruciating.
My daughter, family and dog came to stay over night with us even though we are in lockdown as she was in the evacuation zone for the fires we are having at present. Her area is now safe. Just hope it stays that way. The fire brigade are fantastic and have done such a great job. True heroes.

Re: To rebuild or not to rebuild
Thank you @Adge can you continue to live with your mother especially has she is unwell. I am sure this would be a comfort for her knowing she's not alone.

Re: To rebuild or not to rebuild
Saturday here is going really nice - after 55mm of rain over night - it's now come out sunny and quite pleasant after a dark morning so everything can begin to dry out - geese and ducks are very happy bubs
