Something’s not right

Re: Can't shake the guilty feeling...

Hi @Reggiethecat ,

I'm so sorry. It must be so hard seeing your husband in that way.

Please do not take it personally. It is his mental health condition speaking, not him.

I hear that this is such a difficult time. Please know that you are not alone.

Take care,

tyme

Re: Can't shake the guilty feeling...

Hi @Reggiethecat

I posted "Your husband sounds like he knew he could not take things anymore. He knew what his anger was leading to. Smash things and hurt you"

I see @tyme  clarified a part I did not.

Your husband may have known he was frustrated by his actions,

but his mind could have been anywhere and he may not have known what he was really doing at that time.

We get upset when people we know do not respond how they used to.

Caring people find it hard to give space to loved ones because we want to help them so much, but we cannot always help.
