I enjoyed your podcast so much that I watched it twice. I have bipolar so already plenty neurodiverse but my psychologist thinks I possibly have ADHD as well. When I asked my psychiatrist about it last week she laughed at me and told me it’s a very fashionable diagnosis. Too bad that I can’t bring myself to clean my house hey? Anyway I get the feeling that she never diagnoses it. I couldn’t be medicated for it due to adverse reactions with my anti-psychotics. I might go behind her back and go to ADHD WA for a diagnostic assessment. Well done to you for the hot husband and 3 wonderful kids. You are doing amazing! Thank you for saying yes to Sane and for your moments of rage at the system. Keep up the good fight

@Oaktree  He was very happy about my improvement from our first meeting a few weeks ago.  We didn't end up talking about too much new, just how successful my current activities seem to be working so well. We did talk about the Cert IV next year, and he thought that was a fantastic thing for me to do.  He liked that it was giving me something to achieve and work towards, rather than just something to distract myself from worrying about stuff.

My new psych agrees.  My GP (eventually) agrees.  My partner agrees.  People here agree.  I think it's a good idea! 😃  The cats however, seem indifferent.

I'm really looking forward to getting this test and interview out of the way on Tuesday and making this official.

@Oaktree  Thanks.  I'm not really sure what the interview is about.  I never got the impression I needed to do well at it to gain a place, just prove my competence to be able to complete a course at a Cert IV level. 

I think my enthusiasm will come through and I have plenty of things I've done the past few months that show it, as well as a lot of dedication to go with it. I do tend to feel calm and relaxed and have the nerves and doubts start to set in as the time gets closer.  You will be the first to know how I go.  Unless someone else reads the post first, but you know what I mean.
